From a young age, I've had the gift of touch. I remember when I was 12 years old, I used to massage my Mother’s head. In college, my dorm mates would ask for back rubs. In 1969 when my sister became a professional masseuse, I began massaging my children. I remember massaging the hands of a friend who was so pleased that he asked me to massage his whole body. That’s when I decided to become a professional mind-body worker.
My Health Journey
Throughout my life, I've struggled, as we all do, with physical, emotional and mental challenges. The roots of many of these challenges, including my neck pain and scoliosis were due to a head trauma at birth.
As part of my healing, I tried out many forms of massage and mind-body therapies, and went on to train in approaches that would help me and my clients help themselves.
That's what led me to Movement Intelligence.

Transforming the whole person through the whole living body
My own healing journey, has given me both empathy and understanding for my clients' experiences. I understand that changing one's body-mind is an evolutionary process and maintaining whole body, mind, emotional and spiritual health is a life-long journey.
In serving older clients and as I age myself, one important key I've found to long-term health is to move, stay flexible and always keep learning.
